Secret Agent Hobo Man!

Here he is, a little spy working for the betterment of our Gotham City!
He appears to be a simple little hobo but is in fact a secret agent! Pass him some food and a drink and he'll get to work! It's amazing how much information he can gather!

It's me... Wearing my Cup of Bead Soup necklace!

An unedited photo of me taken this evening. I am wearing the necklace that I created using the focal beads that Cheryl K. Roe made and sent to me for the Cup of Bead Soup blog party event hosted by Lori Anderson!

~*Pay It Forward!*~ Name tag charms!

~*I created these tiny polymer clay name tag charms for a "Pay It Forward" that I hosted on FB. The "Lisa" one is for Lisa Swifka who founded the One World One Heart event.

I am pretty sure that these will inspire others to smile and that is all part of the Pay It Forward idea! Smile at someone and they in turn will smile more! Go on, start smiling! :oD :o) XD xD :0) ':o) :o> etc.!*~

I'll be making a bunch of these for International Handmade Art Charm Day next month! Be sure to be a follower of this and or the International Charm Day blog to be entered to win a custom name charm! I will be choosing a few followers at random! :o)
~*Have a happy and productive day everyone!*~
& remember to smile, even if it means forcing one for 15 seconds straight!
Show them teeth!!!!

See how small the bunny is?!

                                                                   ~*Happy St. Patty's day!*~

I've been busy all morning making all sorts of goodies & finally cured/fired/baked the mini dark chocolate bunny peeking through the grass cupcake! See how *small* this little cutie is?!

The height of the piece from cupcake base to tippity top of the ears that slightly flop is 3/4ths of an inch.

I'll be making more this weekend!

More micro dolls in progress, made of polymer clay. Jointed and non jointed.

Next to my pinky nail (Smallest fingernail on the human hand)
Not feeling too bad about the details that are in need of fine tuning.
I see the general shape of the clay while working on them but not the details.
When I start to work in the sunlight and have more practice, the details will be impressive and look more realistic. For now, it's all about the impression of features and details and practice of manipulating the clay at this scale.

It's a bit different than making small embellishments or cupcakes because I have to work a bit longer at making the limbs close to the same dimensions as one another. It may sound easy, to some, but I need some more practice with it! They are so small and the nature of the clay is to get softer the more it is warmed up... So my hands warm up the itty bitty clay very easily while working with it, too much in fact sometimes which is something I have to work on- I need more practice!

His hands, for now, are just slotted/notched and that is because he might be the motorbike rider to the micro motorbike I am working on. The handle bars from the bike will fit into the notches.

My tools- a razor blade, a pin, polymer clay, my reading glasses, my hands and 28 or 30 gauge wire.

:o) I hope that there are people out here reading my blog that find this fun or fascinating.

If you like what I make, please leave feedback! If you have any tools or tips to recommend, I'd be interested to hear!

Micro doll, made of clay. She/he/it needs clothes!

I was thinking of making it a girl, but left the anatomy a mystery until I find out what kind of clothes I can make!

The limbs will be corrected. They got all goofy towards the end.
The clay must have been too warm or something at the time.

There is no anatomically correct figure here, just a very tiny sculpture made of polymer clay that will be fixed and then sanded, painted and given some type of wardrobe.

I can imagine it wearing a cap or hat of some sort.
Wigging it is not something I am thinking about yet. It's too small to get that detailed without some sort of magnifier.
Well, I am using drug store glasses and don't really see all the fine details with them.
The magnifier lamps make me dizzy so I don't use them.

Anyway- I am on a hunt for a #15 and #16 tatting crochet hook.
I already have all of the other numbers so if you have the 15 and 16 and would like to barter or sell the needles to me, message me!

I would buy them from the internet but the shipping fees are higher than the cost of 2 needles combined!

If you find this interesting or have questions please comment!

Dolls the size of my pinky nail... :o)

I made this doll just now.
It's only a rough version.
It needs to be baked, sanded and then painted. THEN dressed.

I started making micro dolls and thought that I could easily crochet them little dresses made of thread... So- now I need to find a #15 0.6mm and just discovered that a size #16 0.4mm exists!!! I want these crochet/tatting hooks. I found them for sale online but the shipping costs 2x the amount of a needle so if anyone has them or can find them in a local store and ship them to me for regular first class shipping, that would be great! OR if you are in NYC and know where to find them, I can get them here!
COMMENT AWAY! I love your feedback! :o)
