"Amber, get yourself some water here in this store for your walk home."
Amber-"I don't want water"
"You should get some water."
Amber walks into deli/convenience store, still not really wanting water.
Walks toward water in the display and turns towards the packaged snacks instead... doesn't want that either.
"Look at the floor to your left..."
{Amber sees a crumpled $1.00}
"What about over there?"
{Amber sees a $20.00... no wait it is more than that... Picks it all up, looks around for anyone that looks like they are missing their money... Nope?.... Walks out and smiles}
Walks down the street and counts the cash... $45.00!
YIPPEEEE!!!

Wow, free money!
Think of all the water $45 could buy...
:P
that's too cool. so, whatcha gonna do with your windfall? :)
Well, after I commented that I would add $5.00 and buy a bond... I felt that it wasn't the best I could do.
Maybe I need to ask what I am supposed to do with it, now that I found it.
What is the purpose for me finding it?
Hmmm.... An adventure!!!

Meanwhile, I am going to keep smiling.
Hello Amber :)
Very interesting! You are not dreaming I suppose!
You must have been very thrilled to find all that money lying on the floor. Your heart beat must increased with excitement when you looked here there to see if any one was wathing you picking up the cash.
The first thought that came to my mind was that you should have given that money to the person at the counter so that the owner can collect it, if he comes back. But when I thought a little bit more I realised the counter person will pocket the money.
The best thing you can do with that windfall is to give it away to a charitable institution. Or you can buy medicine for poor sick people in hospitals. You will get immense pleasure and satisfaction in doing such good noble deeds.
May you have many more lucky days like this when you will stumble upon wads of currency notes :) :) :)
By the way, you didn't tell us whether you bought the water bottle!
I did not buy the water, I walked in, found the money and left!
It was less that 1 minute total that I was in the store.
As for me giving the money to the clerk, to be honest, I really think the voice leading me to get water, *knew* I did not care for the water, but I obeyed, and found the money.
So I can guess that the money was for me...
As for charity Joseph, I agree with you!
Oh great! You found my money!!! I was wondering where I lost it....good for you!
I found a $20 on the floor at Red Lobster and turned it in. When I turned back to the gal, she was taking her hand out of her pocket. I will never do that again unless it is a wallet with a name, and I will contact the person myself. Too much dishonesty out there, as I saw firsthand. I also found $10 floating in the water when I was glass hunting and gave it to mom. That was cool!
The place where I found the money does NOT have friendly people working there. The last time I was there, I bought a box of Band-Aids to help a young man out who only needed 1 Band-Aid and could not afford the $2.00 for a box of 8 strips.
I was disappointed with the clerk for not taking pity on the young man who just needed 1.
Months before that, I too went in there asking for just 1 Band-Aid/bandage... So I knew the need to have just one.
Anyway... On a happy note!
I am often guided to all sorts of treasures and surprises!
I promise that I make the most of what I find.
