Micro doll, made of clay. She/he/it needs clothes!

I was thinking of making it a girl, but left the anatomy a mystery until I find out what kind of clothes I can make!

The limbs will be corrected. They got all goofy towards the end.
The clay must have been too warm or something at the time.

There is no anatomically correct figure here, just a very tiny sculpture made of polymer clay that will be fixed and then sanded, painted and given some type of wardrobe.

I can imagine it wearing a cap or hat of some sort.
Wigging it is not something I am thinking about yet. It's too small to get that detailed without some sort of magnifier.
Well, I am using drug store glasses and don't really see all the fine details with them.
The magnifier lamps make me dizzy so I don't use them.

Anyway- I am on a hunt for a #15 and #16 tatting crochet hook.
I already have all of the other numbers so if you have the 15 and 16 and would like to barter or sell the needles to me, message me!

I would buy them from the internet but the shipping fees are higher than the cost of 2 needles combined!

If you find this interesting or have questions please comment!

Dolls the size of my pinky nail... :o)

I made this doll just now.
It's only a rough version.
It needs to be baked, sanded and then painted. THEN dressed.

I started making micro dolls and thought that I could easily crochet them little dresses made of thread... So- now I need to find a #15 0.6mm and just discovered that a size #16 0.4mm exists!!! I want these crochet/tatting hooks. I found them for sale online but the shipping costs 2x the amount of a needle so if anyone has them or can find them in a local store and ship them to me for regular first class shipping, that would be great! OR if you are in NYC and know where to find them, I can get them here!
COMMENT AWAY! I love your feedback! :o)

Art to wear!

~*International Handmade Art Charm Day is April 28th. Join the world wide party event!*~

APRIL 28TH OF EVERY YEAR = INTERNATIONAL HANDMADE ART CHARMS DAY.

Also known as, International Charm Day. On this day we celebrate life, friendship, artistic handmade charms to wear. We do this by sharing and wearing our own handmade art charms or give gifts of charms, charm making supplies or charm related items. Love, hope, charity, creativity, friendship, kindness, happiness and sharing are many of the founding components behind this event. We share with those we know and those we do not know. This holiday provides a springboard for all sorts of creative RAKS (random acts of kindness) or planned events. Many choose to share their own tutorials on how to construct a unique art charm, some set up a day of charm making workshops, some even leave charms with little notes and an email address in various public spaces. However you choose to celebrate, do it with an open heart. You will find that the world is in need of more days such as this Please join us! If you blog about this event, host a tutorial, or would like to share a story about how you plan on celebrating the holiday, share a link with us visit the Charm Day blog and leave a comment. You can be added to the blog roll of participants! www.InternationalCharmDay.blogspot.com

I just need nicer weather here!

Random thoughts firing...
I am kicking the cold weather away...
OK not really, but that is what I feel like doing!

The gears are turning.

I'm on a roll producing a variety of new work.
...........

The sky is always changing around here,
which helps to keep life interesting.
I appreciate that about the sky.
...
It's nice to look up and see a new view
every few hours or even minutes on some days!

.........
-->
The trails in the sky are from multiple planes...
I love seeing them like this while the sun goes down.
The light makes them glow like cotton laser beams.

I need to get back to my work for now... I just wanted to share some randomness and feelings...
Enjoy the day.
This is a polymer clay clog on my finger... :o)
I made it last month.

For your entertainment- a piece of screen- a screen patch with a very small polymer cupcake on top!
The "pearl" in the center is a gold no hole bead. One of Suze Weinberg's BeaDazzles. I think it's about the size of a grain of sugar?

A memory of my first birthday party.

I don't know many who can say that they vividly remember their first birthday party.
I remember mine.
One of my favorite parts of the party was the way the cake was decorated with candles.
The little duckies that held my birthday candles were so cute.
While thinking of cute cake decorations I came up with this...
I made this yesterday. Just for fun.

This is what I looked like close to the age of 1. :o)
The above is a photo of a brooch I made for myself several years ago.

Tomorrow IS Today- Martin Luther King Jr.

"We are now faced with the fact, my friends, that tomorrow is today. We are confronted with the fierce urgency of now. In this unfolding conundrum of life and history, there is such a thing as being too late. Procrastination is still the thief of time. Life often leaves us standing bare, naked, and dejected with a lost opportunity. The tide in the affairs of men does not remain at flood -- it ebbs. We may cry out desperately for time to pause in her passage, but time is adamant to every plea and rushes on. Over the bleached bones and jumbled residues of numerous civilizations are written the pathetic words, "Too late."
