Bead Soup ingredients from Cheryl K Roe

 These are really pretty beads!

Although the large focal bead arrived fractured,  I can easily glue it back together!
:o) I might use this to my advantage come design time!!!

Thank you Cheryl!

The Sketchbook Project

So many people have joined in the 2011 Sketchbook Project.
I love to doodle so I thought that it would be fun if I joined in and
scribbled some doodles for the traveling show!

:o)

Gypsy Froggie was kind enough to sponsor me!

I made some polymer clay jewelry tags while I was out this morning. I like to doodle with clay.

It's a bit sloppy, but it's just the prototype.
I will be redoing them and perfecting the details. I made the clay pieces while standing up for 40 minutes earlier in the day.
Each of these is shown on a US penny.

The clay was a bit too soft while making the piece below, so when I redo these, they will look like they have balls at the top and bottom, not domes.

If you would like to be put on any of my mailing lists to receive updates, please indicate what you are interested in. Here are some of your choices.

I'm crocheting sewing thread for a project that I was asked to do for a magazine in Holland.
I will not be posting the project to share with you until March or later depending on the publication date but I can share with you the fact that it took me a LONG time to do this.
Almost 1 entire day of practicing.
:o) It was worth it! My little sister bought me a set of mini crocheting needles for Christmas so I was prepared for the challenge! Thanks Lil' Sis!

~*Bead Soup!*~

Here is a cup of Bead Soup to get you acquainted with what's happening behind the scenes!

I joined my first Bead Soup online blog hop this year...
 We are assigned a partner...
It is our job to send our partner beads that they do not usually work with...
The rules are that each participant must send at least one focal bead and one fancy or special clasp...
Adding additional spacers, enhancements and findings is up to each individual...
This is a sweet toggle clasp which matches the floral theme...
This is what it will look like when clasped together...
These are the beads as they were presented... In clear cellophane envelope bags

My partner Cheryl got these!
