I put up a new slideshow of my recent cupcakes, charms and minis.

Take a look if you are into the miniature sweets & charms I make.
I've posted most if not all of the photos to my blog over the last few months.
Many of my followers are new so I thought I'd share the link.

Movie Theater Tickets for $6.00?! Even 3D!?

If you are in NYC or willing to travel to Queens on Tuesdays, College Point Cinema, (by the DMV, not far from Main Street Flushing, LaGuardia Airport, Citi Field...) offers tickets to ALL movies on TUESDAYS for just ~*$6.00!!!!*~
Now your family of 7 can see a 3D movie for just $42.00 instead of over $115.00!!!
2 can see one 3D movie for less than the usual price for 1 ticket!
We pay $16.50 around here for one 3D ticket. Not sure what you pay but $6.00 per ticket is a HUGE deal!

Thanks to Nicole for sharing the info!

NICE!!!!

Wonders of imagination and creative insanity?

For your entertainment- a piece of screen- a screen patch with a very small polymer cupcake on top!
The "pearl" in the center is a gold no hole bead. One of Suze Weinberg's BeaDazzles. I think it's about the size of a grain of sugar?

:o)
What do you think?

A memory of my first birthday party.

I don't know many who can say that they vividly remember their first birthday party.
I remember mine.
One of my favorite parts of the party was the way the cake was decorated with candles.
The little duckies that held my birthday candles were so cute.
While thinking of cute cake decorations I came up with this...
I made this yesterday. Just for fun.

This is what I looked like close to the age of 1. :o)
The above is a photo of a brooch I made for myself several years ago.

Tomorrow IS Today- Martin Luther King Jr.

"We are now faced with the fact, my friends, that tomorrow is today. We are confronted with the fierce urgency of now. In this unfolding conundrum of life and history, there is such a thing as being too late. Procrastination is still the thief of time. Life often leaves us standing bare, naked, and dejected with a lost opportunity. The tide in the affairs of men does not remain at flood -- it ebbs. We may cry out desperately for time to pause in her passage, but time is adamant to every plea and rushes on. Over the bleached bones and jumbled residues of numerous civilizations are written the pathetic words, "Too late."

Bead Soup ingredients from Cheryl K Roe

 These are really pretty beads!

Although the large focal bead arrived fractured,  I can easily glue it back together!
:o) I might use this to my advantage come design time!!!

Thank you Cheryl!
