Well, despite the cold- I am glad to live here most of the time.
We live by LaGuardia airport- So we have "events" from time to time with aircrafts.
I LOVE planes-
I do NOT like to fly anymore though.
It's good to hear a GOOD "crash" emergency landing story!
A happier ending to this ordeal than I was expecting.
~*BRAVO NYC!*~ Rescue services and all other services involved in today's emergency landing!
That was an amazing landing...congrats to the pilot, and a wonderfull, sucessfull rescue crew! Thank you to New York! An amazing place!
ReplyDeleteGod was there today, that is for sure! NYC rescue was incredible and the pilot was the best.
ReplyDeletewhat a stunning and inspiring example of a job really well done. :)
ReplyDeleteWowser! You weren't kidding when you said in your comment that you were featuring BEADS in your giveaway! Yes, please, do toss my name into the hat for your drawing. :-)
ReplyDeleteSo nice to meet you,
Kate
I agree! I not only loved how calm the pilot remained and how the crew took care of everyone but that the nearby ferry boats and other vessels became rescue boats. A nice metaphor for how we should always be ready to help each other when we see someone standing in knee deep cold water....literally or figuratively. ;)
