These were taken by my little sister...
It's me entering the cloisters.

I uploaded my photos recently, so I will edit them when I can.
The date on her camera is wrong we went this year in July, not August of 2007.
We took her after I went in June and SHE LOVED IT! She really wanted to see the groundhogs!

I added more pictures from the Cloisters since I posted this days ago...
Some ad pages I worked on for a 2009 Diary & address book, the past two months...

Pat Winter & Brenda Wampler MADE MY DAY!
~*WOW,*~
I am SO VERY *delighted* by the mail and gifts that I got in this morning's mail.
Brenda sent me a nice sized ceder chest which she made and it is FULL of well made and artistic charms for upcoming charm exchanges that I am hosting! (Still time to audition for sign ups!)
They are *so* COOL!
I am taking pictures this weekend!
So for now, here is just part of what arrived from Pat Winter in the mail.

My camera does not have a flash, so until I can take some pictures outdoors, this is the best that I can do.
My husband who is REALLY good at animating puppets and toys, is helping me make a short film using this doll.
We have a large painting of a home in Tuscany hung on our living room wall.
He was inspired to have this doll roam around the garden/yard while giving a tour.
Thank you Pat, not only did the kid in me have fun, but my husband's inner child was delighted to play too!
More pictures can be seen on the Makes A Wish blog.
Go on, and click the link above right that says, Think Pink Charms Exchange.
I posted a picture of a charm by Elizabeth Woodford, Donna Barnitz and more of the charms that Pat Winter have sent in for the charity exchange.
You can STILL sign up!
No sign up by deadline.

Black and Whites - One swappers reaction-
I just received my package of charms
from the Black and White Swap in the mail
today, and all I can say is OMG! -
Oh My God!
They are the most beautiful!
It nearly brought tears to my eyes!
Now, don't laugh,
but I have participated in a few swaps in
the past, and am more times than not
disappointed,
but this is truly wonderful.
I can not thank Amber enough for hosting such
a spectacular event,
with astonishing results.
So, I say THANK YOU Amber and
THANK YOU ladies for all your
outstanding work!
I will try to create a bracelet that will do the
charms justice!
Brenda Wampler
P.S. Now, I may have to go back and redo
the charms I made for some of
Amber's other swaps, don't know if they
will meet these standards you
ladies have set so highly!
You can view the charms she has posted to her blog here-
Memories and Treasures
++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
The swap did not go so well from my point of view
with nearly *HALF* of the people signed up,
dropping out or sending unswappable quality items.
A few sent me charms with no packaging or ID.
Several broke the rules of NO COLOR... I guess if I want
to do this again, I will have to be prepared.
I had to mix two black and white swaps that I was hosting at
the same time to get just 17 charm swappers!
6 of which only made 8 pieces for their swap.
So I was not able to keep one of each myself.
In case anyone who sent in 25 pieces wonders why so many of
your own were returned that is why. 8 people were sent back
13 or more of their own.
Thank you VERY much to everyone who followed through
while following the swap guidelines.
You helped to make this a LOT OF FUN for some very nice people!

Life goes on, and we pick up where we left off sometimes.
I am just so very sad, hurt & grieving... Deep pain.
And honestly, I feel overwhelmed by it.
The pain is both physical and emotional.
I've been spending my time distracted by hosting swaps and sorting through my supplies.
But sometimes even that is not enough. I feel such a *heavy* heart within my chest.
I do not really want to sit here and write-
However, I do want to say thank you to the wonderful and artistic woman who have awarded me blog awards over the last month.
I do appreciate it and I am linking your blogs here with the awards, and your name.
